Description
The Town of Carthage is soliciting Bids for the construction of the following project: Carthage Downtown Revitalization. The project consists of improvements and additions to the traffic circle, adjoining roads, and surrounding hardscape and parking areas in downtown Carthage. In general, the primary scope includes reconfiguring the circle to improve vehicular movements and drainage. The project also involves significant revisions to hardscape and landscaping, including updates to pedestrian areas to enhance overall functionality and aesthetics in the downtown area.
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Carthage Downtown Revitalization will be received at Carthage Town Hall, 4396 US 15-501 Hwy, Carthage, NC 28327, Attention: Emily Yopp until 2:00 pm local time on Friday, March 13th, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any and all questions related to the bid documents must be submitted via email to Emily Yopp, Lindsay Whitson, or Trevor Hansen, no later than February 28, 2026. All questions received by this deadline will be reviewed and responded to by the consultants by March 2, 2026. Construction must begin no later than May 18, 2026, and be completed by November 30, 2026.
