Description
The work shall consist of extension of existing campus infrastructure including private water and sewer distribution system extensions and a private road extension to serve the expansion of the south end of the North Campus. The General Contractor shall be the Prime Contractor for this single-prime contract. The Prime Contractor shall hire Owner approved sub-contractors to provide all necessary support work in order to provide turnkey installation, without additional funding by the Owner. Bidders must be North Carolina–licensed General Contractors with demonstrated experience in highway, grading, and public utility construction. Subcontractors proposed for grading or utility work must also hold valid North Carolina licenses and be approved by the Owner.
