Description
Scope 1 The purpose of this engagement is to assist low to moderate income Mecklenburg County residents facing barriers to securing employment. In partnership with other local organizations, the vendors will provide wraparound support and workforce development services including career navigation, training, and certifications that lead to living wage income, job placement, and job retention. Scope 2 The purpose of this engagement is to provide non-technical workforce readiness, essential skills development, and supportive programming for Mecklenburg County residents facing barriers to employment. These services are intended to strengthen employability, financial capability, workplace readiness, and long-term economic stability. This scope does not require delivery of industry-recognized vocational training, or job placement services, but may serve as a precursor or complement to workforce and economic mobility programs.
