NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00pm, on March 18, 2026, in the office of Mecklenburg County Asset & Facility Management Department, 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 6000, Charlotte, NC 28208 (Entrance “I”), for the construction of the VCW – SUITE 1800 CFAS UPFIT. Single-prime, lump sum bids will be taken for construction as indicated in the bidding documents. Proposals must be made on standard forms furnished by the County. The project is located at 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 1800, Charlotte, NC 28208.

Prime Contractors wishing to submit a bid for this project must provide a MANDATORY written Letter-of-Interest to the County’s authorized Design Consultant at least 48 hours in advance of the bid opening. Bids submitted by Prime Contractors that have not provided a Letter-of-Interest may be considered non-responsive.
Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds shall be required for this project.
A pre-bid meeting shall be held on February 18, 2026, at 10:00am, at 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 1800, Charlotte, NC 28208 (Entrance “D”).
Mecklenburg County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or technicalities, as it may deem to be in its best interest.
