Description

The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to obtain pricing from qualified vendors for the purchase of electrical wire to support the operational needs of the City’s Energy Department. The wire will be used for routine maintenance, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements within the City’s electric distribution system. The City of Rocky Mount Energy Department is responsible for maintaining and operating the municipal electric system that provides reliable electrical service to residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout the service area. To ensure continued system reliability and timely responses to maintenance and construction activities, the department requires a consistent supply of approved electrical materials, including various wire types and sizes.
