Description
- Drafting and completion of initial reviews and staff reports for rezoning requests, annexation requests, certificates of appropriateness, and current planning development review and zoning compliance;
- Assisting staff in preparing to present cases in front of decision making boards;
- Reviewing residential plans and permits for zoning compliance. Examples include: new single family homes/duplexes, decks/porches, patios, driveways, fences and accessory structures;
- Reviewing minor commercial plans and permits for zoning compliance. Examples include: interior alterations and fit-ups;
- Meeting with property owners and applicants to discuss their projects, answer questions, and resolve outstanding issues;
- Tracking and delivering work within defined review schedules; and
- Conducting initial and ongoing meetings to coordinate review activities.
