Vendor Self-Service System (VSS) What is Vendor Self-Service? The Vendor Self-Service System (VSS) web portal provides vendors with a single-entry point to register, identify the commodities/services that their company provides, look for business opportunities, and respond to solicitations. Registered vendors can receive email notifications for new bid opportunities (including RFQs, RFPs, RFAs, RFIs, and PQVLs), cancelled solicitations, amendments, and notifications of award. Vendors will also be able to view commodity history, ask questions on open solicitations, and browse recently closed or awarded solicitations. Click this link to visit the VSS Portal: https://mevss.hostams.com/PRDVSS1X1/AltSelfService Once registered, vendors will obtain a User ID and password to log into Vendor Self-Service. Once logged in, vendors can search for solicitations, and respond to them, and update contact information, address information, or add commodity codes to their profile using the "Account Maintenance" feature. For a password reset or assistance with obtaining login information , please call the VSS Help Desk at (207) 624-7889 or email VSS.helpdesk@maine.gov . For general questions about VSS or about a specific solicitation, please call the Office of State Procurement Services at (207) 624-7340.
