Description
Remove muck (stall bedding shavings and horse manure) from designated muck storage locations within the barn complexes in the event areas of the Kentucky Hore Park. Once loaded into dump trucks, the material should be dumped in the central muck disposal area at the rear of the property behind the Alltech Arena. Work may not commence prior to 6:00 p.m. and must be completed no later than 6:00 a.m. each night. The contractor shall provide all equipment necessary to perform the work. Equipment operators must be experienced in operating machinery in low-light conditions and accustomed to working safely in environments with horses. The contractor shall coordinate daily scheduling and operational details with Kentucky Horse Park staff to minimize disruption to Park activities and events. Bids are to be per night of service. Loading and Hauling The contractor shall load material located at the muck disposal area behind the Alltech Arena onto hauling equipment and remove the material from the premises. All equipment necessary to load and transport the material off-site shall be provided by the contractor. The contractor shall coordinate daily activities and scheduling with Kentucky Horse Park staff to ensure minimal disruption to Park operations. Pricing is to be submitted per ton. Vendor must have each load weighed at an approved scale and provide a certified weigh ticket verifying the weight.
