Description
The Cabinet for Economic Development (Cabinet) seeks the services of attorneys to represent the Cabinet, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA), Kentucky Film Leadership Council (KFLC), Bluegrass State Skills Corporation (BSSC); Kentucky Economic Development Partnership (Partnership), and other boards and commissions administratively attached to the Cabinet. Requested services include, but are not limited to, assistance with taxable and tax-exempt bond transactions, representation of the Cabinet and related boards and commissions at all levels of the court system and/or before administrative bodies where the Cabinet may be a party; legal advice and assistance to the Cabinet on all matters within its jurisdiction; legal advice and guidance on policies and procedures relating to the incentives and programs administered by the Cabinet; preparation and review of legal documents necessary for the implementation and administration of the Cabinets programs; and advice in connection with other miscellaneous matters (Personnel Board, employment matters, collection, etc.). Up to five (5) contracts may be awarded under this RFP.
