Description
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to implement an impartial mediation system. The purpose of the system is to resolve disputes between local education agencies and parents of students with disabilities through the use of a qualified and impartial IDEA mediator who is trained in effective mediation techniques. The intent of this RFP is to award multiple contracts. There is no minimum amount of work guaranteed under any contract awarded.
