FY26 Technical Elevator Consultant The Office of the State Fire Marshal is seeking a Technical Elevator Consultant for our Elevator Safety Board. Item # 1: OSFM and the Elevator Safety Review Board require the services of a highly specialized technical consultant with extensive expertise in elevators and related safety mechanisms. The consultant will provide professional technical guidance and subject matter expertise in support of the Boards regulatory, investigative, and advisory responsibilities. A consultant shall have a minimum of 12 years as an electrical engineer, minimum of 10 years writing ASME codes, hold an electrical engineering degree, and current member of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Bidder shall submit a detailed resume, copy of engineering degree, and certification of membership with The American Society of Mechanical Engineers with their response. No sub-contracting is allowed. Attached Standard Certifications and Terms and Conditions shall apply. Please quote hourly rate.
