EMA - Alpha Spectroscopy Lab Services Item # 1: ( 926 - 00 ) Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS) is requesting laboratory services to conduct alpha spectroscopy analysis on soil samples collected as part of a uranium and thorium contamination investigation. The samples will be shipped to the vendor for analysis. Price provided should be for the total 110 samples. See Scope of Work in the Attachments Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS) is requesting laboratory services to conduct alpha spectroscopy analysis on soil samples collected as part of a uranium and thorium contamination investigation. See Scope of Work in the Attachments Item # 2: Vendor must be accredited by a National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) Recognized Accreditation Body or an organization recognized by The National Environmental Laboratories Accreditation Conference (NELAC) Institute (TNI) to accredit laboratories to the TNI environmental laboratory standard. The State may request the certification and vendor must provide within 48 hours of request. If the Vendor does not provide the documentation within 48 hours, the vendor will be found non-responsive and the state has the right to move to the next vendor. Vendor must be accredited by a National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) Recognized Accreditation Body or an organization recognized by The National Environmental Laboratories Accreditation Conference (NELAC) Institute (TNI) to accredit laboratories to the TNI environmental laboratory standard.
