DOC/dishwashing machine and installation/AF This procurement is for Small Business Set Aside Program vendors only. Pontiac Correctional Center intends to procure an industrial type dish-washing machine for use in the facility's Dietary Department. Individuals in custody are hand cleaning the institutions dishes if the dishmachine is not usable. This method of cleaning which creates the potential for spread of pathogens. Item # 1: ( 165 - 29 ) INDUSTRIAL FLIGHT TYPE DISHWASHING MACHINE: The specified machine shall be an energy recovery flight type dish machine with blower dryer and a left to right operation. Features will need to include automatic soil removal system (ASR), complete delime with delime notification, auto dispensing and booster guard, energy recovery, capless wash arms, microprocessor controls, 58 gallons of final rinse consumption per house, with dual rinse, hinged and insulated doors, 30" wide conveyor belt, and blower dryer. Washing cycle minimum of 150 degrees F and rinsing minimum of 160 degrees F and a final rinse of 180 degrees R. For correctional facility. Steam heated and electrically powered. Capable of doing approximately 14,000 dishes per hour. With a water softener (WS-80), with steam booster.
