DOC - Kewanee - Life Safety/fire alarm 3 year contract Life Safety/fire alarm inspection, repairs and maintenance, Item # 1: ( 936 - 33 ) Initial Term: Year 1, per NFPA 25 perform 3-year inspection/testing of sprinkler systems; this including backflows, FDC piping and valve, and sprinkler piping. Additionally, replacement of system gauges (approx. 2) as needed, dry sprinkler heads for harsh condition testing/replacement (approx. 6), and furnish written report of findings. Initial Term: Year 1, per NFPA 25 perform 3-year inspection/testing of sprinkler systems; this including backflows, FDC piping and valve, and sprinkler piping. Devices to be inspected/tested are: manual pull stations, smoke detectors, duct detectors, heat detectors. strobes, horns, wet pipe sprinkler system, water flow, tamper switch systems, and secondary power supply, in accordance with NFPA standards 25 and 72. Devices can be inspected/tested on a schedule of 25% of devices on a quarterly basis to meet the 100% annual requirement. Initial Term: Year 1 Annual inspection of Alarm Initiating Devices and Circuit Information.
