View our RFPs and Bids on the Vermont Bid Registry: https://www.vermontbusinessregistry.com The City of Winooski is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide the City with a Custom 100-foot (minimum) Aerial Fire Truck. The City requires that all contractor's building equipment must possess the ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of the contract. Proposals will be received by the City of Winooski, Vermont for the furnishing of all necessary labor, equipment, and material for the Fire Apparatus and other equipment as outlined. The City of Winooski, Vermont reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and to award the bid in a manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Winooski. Bids may be withdrawn at any time prior to the time of opening said bids as stated in these general conditions. The preference is for a complete custom 100-foot Ladder type firefighting apparatus per the attached specifications. The equipment specifications are listed in Appendix B, which cover the minimum requirements as to the type of construction and tests to which the apparatus must conform. The specification(s) are intended to reflect the "MINIMUM" requirements and not meant to exclude any vendor who can meet or exceed such specification(s). All questions regarding this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be submitted via email. Questions will be accepted and answered in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFP. All questions shall be submitted on or before May 27, 2022, at 3 PM, and shall be emailed to Fire Chief, John Audy, with a copy email sent to Finance Director, Angela Aldieri, The City of Winooski will provide written responses by June 3, 2022, at 3 PM.
