Contractors to download bid documents for this project.
Work included under this Project consists of renovation work in McElhaney Hall on the Campus us Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The renovations consist of construction of one large classroom, classroom space and the renovation of multiple smaller office and other spaces on the first and second floors of the building. Associated work included under this Project includes the construction of shafts and duct connections through the second floor and the construction of a new rooftop unit on the roof above as well as associated work on the floor below the work area.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to
Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents.
A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on January 5, 2025, at 1pm, at the IUP’s McElhaney Hall, Room 104, 441 North Walk, Indiana, PA 15705. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended.
Electronic Bids are due no later than January 27, 2026, at 1pm, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid.
