Print Bid Number: 2023-13 Bid Title: High Street Tree Fencing Project Category: Construction Status: Closed Description: The City of Morgantown (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: High Street Tree Fencing Project 2023-13 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Morgantown Financial Director’s office located in the City Municipal Building at 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505, until 2:00pm local time on July 19, 2023. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Demolition and replacement of existing curb around seven (7) street trees on High Street in Morgantown, WV and the installation of tube hand railing on top of the new curb. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form and are requested for the following single prime Contract: High Street Tree Fencing Project, Contract No. 2023-13 - General Construction. Construction time limit is 30 calendar days for substantial completion and 60 calendar days immediately thereafter for final acceptance. Liquidated damages for each completion time is $500 per day.
