Print Bid Title: Conservation Commission Rain Garden Design & Construction Category: Community Services Status: Closed Description: This request is to select a contractor to design and build a rain garden bioretention practice on the site of the Vermont State Employees Credit Union (VSECU) headquarters on Bailey Avenue in Montpelier, next to the Winooski River. At this site, stormwater from approximately 40,000 square feet of a paved parking lot on the property flows into the river via a 1993 storm drain system that has existing catch basins. This project will construct a rain garden bioretention practice around one catch basin to reduce the sediment and vehicular pollutants that enter the river from those impervious surfaces. The key elements of this project include working with the property owner, VSECU, and the Montpelier Conservation Commission (MCC) to: Design a rain garden bioretention practice per the Vermont Stormwater Manual. Construct the practice per the design before September 30, 2019. The installation will include working with local volunteers (organized and managed by MCC) who will help perform simple tasks such as planting. Develop a maintenance protocol for VSECU to follow for maintaining their rain garden bioretention practice. Click here to view the full Request for Proposals with Scope of Work . FAQ
How do I use the Market Snapshot?
It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.
Is the data live?
The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
What do P10 and P90 mean?
P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
