Proposals will be accepted via email at bidresponse@lnsd.orgwit h “Sealed Bid – Grounds Services” in the subject line or signed and sealed with a notation on the outside of the envelope stating “Sealed Bid – Ground Services” and will be accepted on or before, Friday, May 10 @ 1:00 PM If you have any questions, please contact: Dylan Laflam, Facility Director at 802-851-1587or dlaflam@luhs18.org Work Details Lawn Maintenance Bid & Proposed Specifications Schedule Contract Period: Date of Award May 2023 thru October 31, 2025 Scope of Services: CONTRACTOR shall provide professional lawn maintenance services for the Hyde Park Elementary School. Services will include: 1. Spring cleanup-removal of debris and raking of the areas mentioned below: 2. Cutting grass in the following areas/lawns: A. Courtyard around the school B. The Soccer Field C. Side bank towards the road 3. Trimming A. All sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas 4. All sidewalks are to be cleared of clippings 5. CONTRACTOR will dispose of debris and clippings in a legal manner 6. Grass will be cut as needed, but in no case shall the length of grass be less than 1.5 inches or greater than 3.0 inches. The actual schedule of grass cutting may change according to weather conditions and rainfall. 7. There will be no cutting of grass during school hours or when summer school classes are in session. ______________________________________________________________________________ Scope of Services: CONTRACTOR shall provide professional lawn maintenance services for Johnson Elementary School . Services will include: 1. Spring cleanup-removal of debris and raking of the areas mentioned below: 2. Cutting the grass in the following areas/lawns: A. Playground B. Pre-school playground in front of the school C. Hill that connects to the playground area D All grass in front of the fence that surrounds the playground E. Area behind the school adjacent to the staff parking area F. Area between the driveway and the Legion Field G. Parking Lot with storage garage to the right of the school must have a grassed area in front and back and up to the tree lines mowed. 3. Trimming A. All sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas 4. All sidewalks are to be cleared of clippings. 5. CONTRACTOR will dispose of debris and clippings in a legal manner 6. Grass will be cut as needed, but in no case shall the length of grass be less than 1.5 inches or greater than 3.0 inches. The actual schedule of grass cutting may change according to the weather conditions and rainfall. 7. Services will include: 1. Spring cleanup-removal of debris and raking of the areas mentioned below: 2. Cutting the grass in the following areas/lawns: A. Playground B. Pre-school playground C. All grassed areas around school on both sides of the drives and parking lots D All grass area around garden and orchard spaces E. Area behind the school that contains ball fields and pavilion F. Area between the parking lot and Knowles Flat Road 3. Trimming A. All sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas 4. All sidewalks are to be cleared of clippings. 5. CONTRACTOR will dispose of debris and clippings in a legal manner 6. Grass will be cut as needed, but in no case shall the length of grass be less than 1.5 inches or greater than 3.0 inches. The actual schedule of grass cutting may change according to the weather conditions and rainfall. 7. There will be no cutting of grass during school hours or when summer school classes are in session. __________________________________________________________________________________ Equipment: The Contactor will be responsible for supplying the equipment, fuel and supplies for this contract. Other: The winning bidder shall obtain a $500,000 liability insurance policy and shall provide the Lamoille North Modified Unified Union School District with a Certificate of Insurance naming the District as an additional Insured. Damage: The Contractor acknowledges that they are responsible for reporting of damage immediately to Dylan Laflam, Facilities Director, and shall be held liable for damage as a result of their service. Contract Award: The contract award shall be based upon the following criteria (non-weighted), a) base bid; b) sufficient experience and expertise; c) current workload of bidding Contractor; and d) positive references from past projects of similar size and scope.
