Print Bid Title: Council Chambers Audio and Voting System Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AUDIO AND VOTING SYSTEM The City of Fremont, Nebraska is seeking proposals from qualified firms to design and build an audio and voting system for the City Council Chambers. The system must include fifteen (15) microphones and capability for nine (9) members to vote. The system should include the ability to record the audio, indicate voting outcome and central control of microphones. Budgeted funds for this project are $60,000 if completed prior to October 1, 2014. Proposals should include: • A proposed design for the system upon completion of the project. • A time line for the completion of the project. • A statement of qualifications and relevant experience. • A list of references from previously completed or renovated systems. • A fixed fee to accomplish the design and installation of the system. Proposals from qualified firms will be ranked and the highest ranked proposal may be interviewed to see if a contract can be entered into. Main factor in ranking are price, quality, experience, references and compliance in submitting the required information. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on May 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. (Central time) at Fremont Municipal Building, 2nd floor, City Council Chambers, 400 East Military, Fremont, Nebraska. Proposals must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than 10:00 a.m. (Central time) on June 2, 2014 at the Fremont Municipal Building, 400 East Military Ave, 2nd Floor. The City of Fremont reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part proposal if it be deemed to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
