Description
The Certified SB, including MB, SB-PW, or DVBE Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to replace and test one (1) backflow device at the Modesto Armory. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov. Subject line must include the IFB No. 125420, Backflow Replacement & Testing and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders can attend the optional pre-bid job walk on 2/4/2026, at 10:00 AM at Modesto Armory, 933 Kansas Avenue, Modesto, CA 95351. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Jordan Bernal at Jordan.Bernal@cmd.ca.gov. The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-36 - Plumbing Contractor license. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Jordan Bernal at Jordan.Bernal@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 2/11/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 125420. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 2/25/2026 at 2:15 PM.
