Print Bid Title: 2015 PW Concrete Repair Project #4106 Category: City Clerk Status: Awarded Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID 2015 PW Concrete Repair Project #4106 MINOT, NORTH DAKOTA Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Minot, North Dakota, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the 2015 PW Concrete Repair at the office of the City Clerk, until 11:00 A.M., Central Time, on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2015 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers. All bids must be submitted, and all work shall be done in full and strict compliance with: The plans for this project; The Supplemental Specifications; The 2013 Standard Specifications and Details of the City of Minot heretofore approved by City Council of the City of Minot and on file in the offices of the City Clerk and the City Engineer of the City of Minot. Copies of the plans, specifications and proposal forms may be obtained from the CITY PUBLIC WORK’S OFFICE, MINOT, ND. COST PLANS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS $ 20.00 COST OF 2013 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS $ 25.00 The Scope of work consists of Mobilization; Unit #1 Bond, Installation of Class #5 300TN, 8”Concrete w/#4 bar 700 SY, Bollard 12 EA, Installation of catch Basin 2 EA, Pressure Treated Pine Board 275 LF; and incidental items. Unit #2, three sites; Bond LS 1, Class #5 gravel 95 TN, 6”Concrete w/#4bar 270 SY. All bids are to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, and are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the undersigned City Clerk, accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder’s bond in a sum equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal, and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal’s bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and a contractor’s bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the Minot City Council. Countersignature of a bid bond is not required. Also, any bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid, as required by Section 43-07-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. No bid may be read or considered if it does not fully comply with the requirements of Section 48-01.1-05 of the North Dakota Century Code, and that any deficient bid submitted must be resealed and returned to the bidder immediately. The City Council reserves the right to hold all bids for thirty days, to reject all bids and to waive any informality in any bid. Also, a copy of the bidder’s contractor license or license renewal must be included in the bid bond envelope. There shall be endorsed upon the outside of the envelope containing the bid, the following: “Bid for 2015 PW Concrete Repair, Project #4106 ” The name of the person, firm or corporation submitting the bid. Acknowledgement of all Addenda issued by the City Engineer. The work shall be started on a date to be fixed by the City Council, notice of which will be given to the contractor ten days in advance.
