The work consists of the following approximate quantities: GROUP “A” – BASE BID 1 LS Contractor Right of Entry Agreement Fixed Fee 1 LS Mobilization 4,697 SY Mill Asphalt 2” Depth 521 TONS Build 2” Asphalt Surfacing 45 LF Build 24” Concrete Curb & Gutter 705 GAL Tack Coat 318 SY Build 9” Concrete Paving 318 SY Remove Pavement 1 EA Adjust Water Valve to Grade 1 EA Adjust Manhole to Grade 2 EA Adjust Telephone Manhole to Grade 1,551 LF 4” White, Preformed Pavement Marking, Type 4, Grooved (60 Angled Stalls, 2 Parallel Stalls) 220 LF 4” Yellow, Preformed Pavement Marking, Type 4, Grooved (Centerline Strips) 90 LF 12” White, Preformed Pavement Marking, Type 4, Grooved (Stop Bar) 246 LF 24” White Preformed Pavement Marking, Type 4, Grooved (Crosswalk) 1 LS Traffic Control Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid for the entire project. All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the ENGINEER and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of the City of Fremont as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith. Plans, Specifications and Bid Documents may be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, Fremont, Nebraska, and will be issued by JEO Consulting Group, Inc., Consulting Engineers, PO Box 207, 142 W. 11th Street, Wahoo, Nebraska 68066, a payment of $50.00 to cover partial cost, none of which will be returned, needs to be paid prior to plans and specifications being sent out. In order to bid the project, the plans and specifications must be issued directly by JEO Consulting Group, Inc. to the bidder. The Mayor and City Council, reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion serve the best interests of the City of Fremont, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
