Print Bid Number: RFQ 23-02 Bid Title: Winter Contracted Transit Bus Services Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Bid Recipient: Bruce Abel, Transit Director babel@jacksonwy.gov (307) 733-4521 ext. 1650 Description: SOUTHERN TETON AREA RAPID TRANSIT (START) REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR WINTER CONTRACTED TRANSIT BUS SERVICES Winter 2023-2024 Requested By: Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit (hereinafter “START”) START is looking for a qualified contractor to provide transit bus services between Teton Village, Wyoming, the Teton Village Transit Center at Stilson, and the Town of Jackson, Wyoming. The successful contractor will provide shuttle service along one fixed route that will operate for approximately 142 days commencing November 25, 2023, and ending on April 14, 2024. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the operation of the contracted transit bus services including the provision of appropriate vehicles, delivery of all specified transit bus services as specified herein, the performance of all vehicle maintenance activities necessary for the provision of contracted transit bus service, accommodation for the storage of all vehicles required for the provision of contracted transit bus services, provision of all necessary staffing to support the delivery of specified contracted transit bus services, compliance with all relevant Federal and State of Wyoming requirements including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), provisions for fueling all vehicles required to perform the specified contracted transit bus services, and reporting to START staff of all requested information as described below in this RFQ. START shall be responsible for establishing the shuttle routes and reserves the right to modify these routes at any time during the course of this contract. SUBMITTALS 1. Date/Time: Responses must be submitted at or before 4:00 p.m. on October 17, 2023. Proposals received after the above-specified date and time will be returned to contractor. 2. Identification/Submittal of Responses: Responses shall be submitted via email to both: Bruce Abel, Transit Director at , and Ann McClure, Transit Administrative Assistant at Or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to START C/O Bruce Abel, Transit Director 150 Pearl Avenue Jackson, WY 83001 Contract Award START shall select the vendor deemed most qualified based on: Company experience and key personnel; Proposed vehicles; Proposed implementation plan and timing; Reference; and Proposed cost. START reserves the right to reject any or all responses submitted, in whole or in part, and/or to waive any informalities in response to proposals submitted in response to this RFQ. Contractor shall have been regularly and continuously engaged in the business of providing bus services for at least two (2) years prior to the date of this RFQ; and 2. The Contractor shall possess all permits, licenses, and professional credentials necessary to supply products and perform services as specified under this RFQ.
