Print Bid Number: 2017-33 Bid Title: Minnow Removal from Wastewater Lagoons Category: Professional & Contracted Services Status: Closed Description: A single contract is being solicited by the City of Mitchell to trap and remove minnows from the Wastewater Lagoons located in Sections 1-102-60 and 6-102-59 on the Hanson/Davison County line. The City will disclaim any and all rights to the trapped minnows and the successful proposer may sell or dispose of the same as they deem prudent. A single proposal will be accepted. The successful contractor shall be able to produce a Liability Insurance Policy with a Single limit $500,000 Liability coverage for any damage to the City’s property. In addition, a waiver of Liability against the City shall be executed indemnifying and holding the City harmless for any injury or damages the Contractor may incur while working on City Property. Successful proposer may use up to 40 minnow traps total to be located on and distributed between Cells No. 5, 6 and 7. Successful proposer’s operations and equipment shall not impair the operation of the City’s Wastewater Lagoons, including irrigator’s intakes and equipment. Proposals shall be for a period of three (3) seasons, beginning May 1, 2017 and ending October 31, 2019 and shall be made on a copy of this notice as follows: I ___________________________acting on behalf of _______________________ propose to remove minnows from the City of Mitchell’s Wastewater Lagoons, upon the terms listed above and others which may be attached and agreed to by the parties, for the sum of _________________________________dollars ($__________), paid to the City at the start of each season, and no later than April 30, of each year.
