Print Bid Title: Belfast City Park Concession Stand Food Service Request for Proposals Category: Parks & Recreation Status: Closed Description: The City of Belfast Parks and Recreation is requesting proposals for a food service business to operate the Concession Stand at Belfast City Park! We are searching for a business to partner with for the two-year period of May 1, 2026-September 30, 2027 (two summer seasons). The building has the capability of operating as a lunch counter or snack shack. The City is soliciting interested parties to submit a simple one-page Request For Proposal (RFP) that will then be reviewed by City staff. The Concession Building at Belfast City Park has all modern small restaurant-style equipment for park-style food to include a griddle and a four-basket deep fryer, both under a commercial hood, drink cooler, refrigerator, upright freezer, ice cream freezer, prep. tables, three-bay sink, a hand sink, and small storage area. Operation of the Concession Stand could begin as soon as June 1, and run through Labor Day each season. The City is looking for a lunch-based menu as well as snacks, drinks, appetizer-style food, ice cream, etc, with a robust operating schedule. Proposals will be reviewed on February 11, 2026 at 10 AM at Belfast City Hall. Park Use Notes: The City Park is highly used throughout the Summer, including but not limited to; fitness users walking the trail and main road, tennis and Pickleball players, Little League T-Ball games, Pool and Playground goers, programming and Pavillion Rental Groups. Lunchtime is a very busy time at the park, especially on weekdays. Proposals received after 12 PM on February 10, 2026, may be considered, but there is no guarantee. The City reserves the right to accept and/or reject all proposals. We look forward to hearing from you!
