Print Bid Number: DWS Job No. 13-06 Bid Title: Construction of Hamakuapoko Well Site #2, 0.15 MG Wter Tank Category: Construction - All Construction Status: Closed Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED BIDS for the construction of HAMAKUAPOKO WELL SITE #2, 0.15 MG WATER TANK, DWS JOB NO. 13-06, HALIIMAILE, ISLAND OF MAUI, STATE OF HAWAII, will be received by the Director of the Department of Water Supply, Kalana O Maui Building, 5th Floor, 200 South High Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793, until 2:00 PM, November 12, 2013 , at which time and place sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as necessary to construct a new 150,000 gallon water tank, foundation, booster pumps, and related appurtenances. This includes the connection to existing utilities, construction of a paved driveway, installing appurtenances, removal of existing appurtenances. Bid documents may be purchased from the Engineering Division of said department at a cost of THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS ($35.00) PER SET. A compact disk (CD) containing the bid documents can also be purchased for an additional TEN DOLLARS ($10.00). There will be no refund for these bid documents once they are purchased. Payment shall be in the form of cash, check or money order payable to "Department of Water Supply". A pre-bid conference and tour of the project site is scheduled for 9:00 a.m., October 22, 2013 . Bidders are not required to attend. Bidders shall meet at the Department of Water Supply’s Water Resources and Planning Division, Suite 102 of the One Main Plaza building, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii. Bidder intending to attend this pre-bid conference are requested to call 270-7835 and inform the Department of Water Supply of their intent to attend the conference at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the pre-bid conference. To be eligible to bid, bidders must posses a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor's “A” or “B” license.
