REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to accomplish market research pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, and to identify businesses capable of performing the functions described herein. At a minimum, the Government is requesting information regarding the capabilities of companies that could support the requirements of the Department of State (DOS) as described in this RFI.

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY.  This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.

Respondents should note that the U.S. Government will not reimburse any costs or expenses incurred in responding to this RFI. All costs related to preparing and submitting a response are the sole responsibility of the respondent. Choosing not to respond to this RFI will not exclude any party from participating in future solicitations, should they occur. However, the Government may consider the nature and volume of industry responses when determining its future acquisition strategy.
