Original: Sealed Bids for the construction of the Armory Lot Retaining Wall, Bid Call 2020-10 will be received by the Morgantown Parking Authority at the office of the Parking Director in the Public Safety Building Located at 300 Spruce Street, Morgantown, West Virginia until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 8, 2020 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of the construction of a retaining wall and reconstruction of the parking lot. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Morgantown Parking Authority, 300 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505, 304-284-7435. Bid Documents may be examined online at http://www.morgantownwv.gov/bids. Bid Documents may be obtained from the Engineer at Potesta & Associates, Inc. (POTESTA), 125 Lakeview Drive, Morgantown West Virginia 26508, telephone number (304) 225-2245, facsimile number (304) 225- 2246. Bidding Documents issued as hard copy drawings and hard copy specifications are available for $50 per set. Bidding Documents issued as digital drawings and digital specifications on a C.D., are available for $30 per set. All checks shall be made payable to Potesta & Associates, Inc. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted from the Engineer will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Engineer. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Engineer. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm local time on March 25, 2020 at Public Safety Building, 300 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505 in the Conference Room.
