<p><strong>NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID</strong><br><strong>STATE OF FLORIDA</strong><br><strong>DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BID NO. BDC27-25/26</strong></p><p><br>The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below.</p><p><br><strong>PROJECT NAME:</strong> Sebastian Inlet State Park – Pavilions Demolition</p><p><br><strong>BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE:</strong> No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Thursday, June 11, 2026, to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard, MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000, Attention: Brandon Williams, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2535. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids.</p><p><br><strong>BID POSTING DATE:</strong> No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Thursday, June 18, 2026, unless extended by the Department for good cause.</p><p><br><strong>INSTRUCTIONS:</strong> Documents for this bid will be available for download on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us.</p><p><br><strong>SCOPE OF WORK:</strong><br><strong>Base Bid:</strong><br>Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to demolish the two (2) pavilions per the contract documents.</p><p><br><strong>Note:</strong> Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. To request a pre-qualification letter, the bidder should email BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us. If not pre-qualified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid.</p><p><br>Pursuant to Executive Order 07-126 and Section 255.252(3), F.S. the Department requires the proposed project be designed and constructed in accordance with green building standards where applicable.</p><p><br><strong>PROJECT MANAGER: </strong>Dominique Rouse, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399.
