General Information: The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified firms (also referred to as Proposers, Vendors or Contractors) to provide Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) solutions for START, to conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed, and to select the vendor(s) who can help START best reach it's goals. The project encompasses the provision of all software and hardware systems necessary to implement the various ITS components, the implementation of the components, all training and a three (3) year warranty. Functional Requirements are divided into the following modules : GTFS Implementation and Management GTFS-RT Feeds GTFS-RT Prediction Algorithm GTFS-RT Validation Customer Information Services Curated Messaging Services & Real-Time Customer Information Rider Trip Planning Tool Performance Reporting Module CAD/AVL- including Transit Signal Priority (TSP) Scheduling and Shift Management Electronic Mobile Ticketing Real-Time Information Signage START will accept proposals for any and/or all modules.
