Print Bid Title: Request for Offers Category: Current Bids & RFPs Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR OFFERS The Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA) for the City of Wayne is accepting offers for purchasing house(s) from 502 Hillcrest Road, 506 Hillcrest Road and 1119 Walnut Street, Wayne, NE 68787. Property lots can be included in offers that the CRA owns, or offers can be for the houses only. The CRA has house movers lined up and costs established for the moving of all three. Houses must be moved to their new location(s) by July 1, 2023. Offers will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023. Offers may be submitted in person at City offices located at 306 Pearl Street, emailed to or mailed to: City of Wayne Attn: Betty McGuire, City Clerk PO Box 8 Wayne, NE 68787 The CRA reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and irregularities in the process. The following criteria should be included or noted when submitting the offer: Location of final destination for each house (if not using lots provided by the CRA). Timeline for house(s) to be relocated and habitable. Include other items of potential interest to the CRA (i.e. plans to be owner-occupied or rental, additions planned to the homes). Moving permits will be carried by the CRA unless otherwise noted.
