Print Bid Title: Request for Proposal: Engineering & Design Services, City of Belfast Public Works Facility Category: Planning and Codes Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ENGINEERING & DESIGN SERVICES CITY OF BELFAST PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY The City of Belfast, Maine is requesting engineering and design services to prepare all site engineering plans, building design plans, and the accompanying invitation to bid documents for construction of a new facility for the Belfast Public Works Department. Respondent also will need to obtain all required permits. The City has purchased a 34 acre property on Crocker Road and intends to develop this site to house all Department operations. The City also requires that the shell for the main building be constructed to a well insulated standard and that solar panels are used to provide energy needs. The Request for Proposal is available on the City of Belfast website; cityofbelfast.org; reference Doing Business tab, Bids/RFP's. Completed proposals must be returned by Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the following address: Wayne Marshall, City Planner, City of Belfast, 131 Church St., Belfast, ME, 04915. The City also will conduct a pre-proposal bid conference (voluntary attendance) on Wednesday, January 25 at 11:00 am in the Council Chambers of Belfast City Hall.
