Print Bid Title: AWARDED: Advertisement for Bids - Addition & Remodel WFPW Facilities Phase 1 Category: City of West Fargo RFP Status: Closed Description: 1.01 THE PROJECT The Work consists of Single Prime Contract for the Project for the General Construction and Mechanical and Electrical Sub-bidders for a Type S-1 Occupancy. Addition of a post-frame building to an existing post-frame building (Building D or 150 Building). Interior renovations including addition of insulation, vapor barrier and interior liner panels to Building A (Camelot Building). Project includes, but not limited to construction of post-frame building structure, associated reinforced concrete footings, foundation walls, floor systems and related base material and backfill, finish grading and seeding, associated mechanical and electrical systems. Interior liner panels, insulation and vapor barrier additions. Site work for building and parking lot, concrete curb and gutter only. Grading and paving is by Owner. 1.02 THE OWNER (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS OWNER) City of West Fargo 2515 6th St. E West Fargo, ND 58078 1.04 TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS Sealed SINGLE BASE BID will be received for ALL WORK for the above referenced project. All Bids will be received by the Owner until 2:00 P.M. Central Time on May 29, 2025. Bids shall be delivered before the time and date above to the address listed above for the Owner, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Telephone and Fax Bids will not be allowed. All sealed Bids must state: Addition and Remodel, WFPW Facilities, Phase I The Architect assumes no responsibility for receiving and delivering Contractor Bids to the bid opening. Pre-Bid Conference at Jobsite: May 15, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. All bids shall be in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by YHR Partners, Ltd., 420, Main Avenue, Moorhead, MN 56560. Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of the Architect as outlined below. All deposits ,and/ or payments for Bid Documents shall be made payable to "YHR Partners, Ltd.". Any bidding Contractor, subcontractor, material supplier/ vendor, and/ or testing agency may obtain electronic Bid Documents (digital download of pdf files) at no cost by contacting: YHR Partners, Ltd., 420, Main Avenue, Moorhead, MN 56560. Upon request, a full set of printed hard copy Bid Documents may be obtained by any bidding Contractor, subcontractor, material supplier/ vendor, and/ or testing agency at a non-refundable cost of $250. Bidders on this Work will be required to comply with American Iron and Steel requirements of the Consolidation Appropriations Act, 2014. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this regulation are explained in the specifications. Bidders are required to comply with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements. Any lead service line replacements conducted under this Project must replace the entire lead service line, not just a portion, unless a portion has already been replaced or is concurrently being replaced with another funding source. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title 40 CFR Part 33– Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in the United States Environmental Protection Agency Programs. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this regulation concern utilization of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE), and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and are explained in the specifications. The goal for MBE is 2% of the total dollar value of the project. The goal for WBE is 3% of the total dollar value of the project. To demonstrate a good faith effort to comply, bidders must include the MBE/WBE subcontractor solicitation form in the bid package. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246, as amended. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Bidders are required to comply with Build America, Buy America Act requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and waive informalities therein.
