Print Bid Title: RFP: Playground Equipment for Sunnyview Park Category: Current Bids & RFPs Status: Closed Description: Request for Proposals Playground Equipment - Sunnyview Park The City of Wayne is accepting proposals for new playground equipment to be furnished and installed at Sunnyview Park (10th and Providence Road), Wayne, Nebraska. Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, and possibly awarded as soon as that same evening at the Wayne City Council meeting. Proposals may be mailed to the City of Wayne, Attn: Betty McGuire, City Clerk, PO Box 8, Wayne, NE 68787, submitted in person at the city offices located at 306 Pearl Street, or emailed to . The City has $85,000 in its budget to invest in this project (equipment and installation only). The City will evaluate each proposal considering the amount, quality and contemporary nature of the equipment, as well as a completion date for installation. The City envisions a "tower" in the center of the equipment with ancillary pieces attached. Be aware of the trail and sidewalk through the park so equipment can be installed without encroaching into the trail/sidewalk spaces. Other items to consider: - Surface area for equipment is approximately 40' x 60' - Company furnishes all equipment for the job as well as all labor for installation - Please include a timeline for project completion - City is responsible for preparing the site for equipment - City is responsible for surfacing and surfacing barrier Any questions concerning the above proposal requirements, please contact Lowell Heggemeyer, Parks and Recreation Director, at 402-375-8627. Proof of $1,000,000 in liability insurance coverage (naming the City as an additional insured and waiving subrogation requirements) will be required before awarded bidder begins work. The City of Wayne reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
