Description
The purpose of this project is to upgrade and replace all Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), including door access control systems, intercom systems, and camera surveillance systems at two separate sites. The first site being Southeastern Power Administration’s Main site and the second, Southeastern’s Remote Operations Site. Ensuring compliance with FIPS 201 standards for identity authentication and Section 2 of the Secure Networks Act, which restricts certain telecommunications and surveillance equipment deemed as security risks. Surveillance cameras must provide high-resolution imaging, 24/7 monitoring capability, and secure data storage for a minimum of 30 days of video, ensuring compliance with Secure Networks Act-approved equipment lists. Southeastern intends to issue a firm-fixed-priced contract for this project. The full scope of work and specifications will be included in the documents section.
A prescheduled site visit has been arranged for interested vendors. It is highly encouraged to visit the sites included on this project, to ensure vendors are able to provide Southeastern with an accurate, competitive, fair and reasonable offer, but is not require to submit a proposal. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to site visit start time, so that badge entry and security checks can be completed. All parties will need to provide a valid, unexpired REAL ID Act-compliant driver's license or state identification card. Personnel who do not possess a REAL ID-compliant form of identification will be denied entry.
