See below for specifications. Please submit your bid to the City of Belfast, City Clerk’s Office, 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915 on or before 10:45 a.m., on Thursday, September 1, 2011. Bids will be opened publicly in the Council Chambers-City Hall. Bids are to be in a sealed envelope- marked “City of Belfast Public Works 4x4 Truck”. Delivery date must be submitted and may be a factor in awarding this bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for any or all items covered in the bid request, to waive any informalities or defects in bids or to accept such bids as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. Bidders will be considered for award on the basis of bid price, performance record, parts availability, experience and full economic analysis. The City of Belfast is exempt from taxes; therefore, Bids should not reflect taxes. Federal excise certification shall be executed upon request of favorable bidder.
