Description:

This requirement is for centrifuge services at the National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) including on-site performance checks, preventive maintenance, and servicing of the equipment which consists of the following tasks:

  • One annual preventative maintenance visit performed to factory specifications.
  • On site labor, travel and parts according to service plan coverage (Prevention Plus, Protective or Comprehensive).
  • On-site service support and technical phone support.
  • Fixed maintenance cost according to selected service plan coverage.
  • Service provided by only authorized and factory certified technicians.
  • Genuine (original) part replacement.

RFO FAR 12.201-1 Simplified procedures will be used for awarding the contract. The anticipated award date is March 16th, 2026.

The intended source for this acquisition is Beckman Coulter, Inc., 250 S Kraemer Blvd., Brea, California 92821.

Beckman Coulter, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of this equipment and has the only authorized and factory certified technicians; therefore, they have the expertise, training and ability to provide original manufacturing parts. The nature of the biological material processed in this equipment requires the performance of said equipment to be as manufacturer’s specifications. Servicing and evaluation of equipment should be performed by the manufacturer’s field engineers. These field engineers have knowledge on all aspects of servicing and evaluation of the different Beckman Coulter brand models that are present in the NVSL labs.
