REQUEST FOR BIDS – ROOF REPLACEMENTChattooga County is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of the roof at theChattooga County Sheriff’s Department, located at 533 Underwood Dairy Road, Trion,Georgia 30753.Scope of WorkThe project includes, but is not limited to, the following:• Removal of existing lightning protection and store for re-installation• Removal of the existing EPDM membrane to the ISO insulation.• Installation of a new TPO roofing system .060 thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofingmaterial.• Removal of all abandoned roof penetrations• Replacement of all TPO flashing, trim, and sealants• Work to include through-the-wall scuppers, parapet walls, metal coping, and trim• Replacement or installation of collector boxes and downspoutsAll work must meet industry standards. Contractors are responsible for verifying allmeasurements and site conditions before submitting a bid.Submission RequirementsBids must include:• Total project cost• Per-square-foot price for replacing any water-damaged ISO insulation board.• Per- square- foot price for any deteriorated metal decking.• Estimated project timeline• Proof of licensing and insurance• References for similar commercial roofing projectsBid DeadlineAll bids must be submitted no later than March 19th at 5 pm.Bids must be delivered to the Chattooga County Commissioner's office, located at 10102Commerce St, Summerville, GA 30747.Bids will be open at 10 am, March 20th, 2026.Interested Bidders may contact the Sheriff's Office at 706-857-3411 to schedule a time toInspect the proposed project.Chattooga County Commissioner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
