Description
The Department of Human Services, Torrance State Hospital is seeking a contractor to provide FRESH PRODUCE FOR DELIVERY FROM APRIL-JUNE 2026 for consumers located at State Route 1014, Torrance PA, Westmoreland County.
The quantities listed are estimates and may increase or decrease based on the needs of the facility.
Bidders will only bid on the acceptable brands, package size and codes as specified. All items to be in accordance with the attached PA Specifications. Always bid on the unit of measure listed.
Dietary Dept will notify vendor of quantities for each delivery. There will be two deliveries a week - Monday and Thursday. Alternate deliveries may be arranged as required. Quantities may be adjusted at the request of the Dietary Dept to meet the needs of our consumers.
Delivery to be made the day specified, between the hours of 8:00am and 11:45pm. Delivery may not be made on a state holiday.
PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER MUST BE SHOWN ON ALL PACKING SLIPS, INVOICES, AND ANY DELIVERY CORRESPONDENCE.
Award will be made based on lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Award will be made by lowest overall price.
Bids are due February 10, 2026, 10:00am and must be submitted electronically. Late bids will be disqualified. Contractors must enter firm prices for all contracted years and provide appropriate responses to all “Mandatory Attributes” contained in the solicitation. Failure to submit bid as
described may result in yours being rejected as a non-responsive bidder.
