The existing water main is to remain active during construction of the new water main. The new water main shall be furnished by the City of Spearfish.The Contractor will be required to pay excise tax on the City Furnished water main. A water main lowering will also be required for the construction of a future drainage ditch. The fittings for the water main lowering will be paid for in the lump sum price for “Water Main Lowering” and will not be paid for separately. The new water main will be installed on the BHSU campus and will require replacement of lawn irrigation and surfacing in the staff/faculty parking lot. The?
