Description
LEGAL NOTICE The Board of County Commissioners of Wayne County, Ohio, will accept sealed bids on or before 2:00 PM local time on TUESDAY, MARCH 3, 2026, for the: DOYLESTOWN RD. BRIDGE REPLACEMENT (DESIGN- BUILD) This project must be completed by October 29, 2027, and includes the furnishing of design plans, all labor, material and equipment for the replacement of the Bridge located on Doylestown Rd. (WAY-CR70-1.13) over Chippewa Creek, in accordance with the design-build specifications prepared by Eric K. Liew, P.E., P.S. of the Wayne County Engineer’s Office. Engineer’s estimate for the project is $920,885.00. All materials and equipment must meet the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation and shall include all necessary barricades, signs, lights, watchmen, etc., and work performed shall be under the supervision of the Wayne County Engineer’s Office. ONLY ODOT PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS ARE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT BIDS FOR THIS PROJECT. The Invitation to Bid, including all bid specifications, may be obtained from the Wayne County Engineer’s Office, 3151 W. Old Lincoln Way, Wooster, Ohio 44691. Copies may also be obtained electronically by emailing Eric K Liew, P.E., P.S., Bridge Engineer, at ekl@wayne-county-engineer.com .
