Print Bid Title: Request for Proposals for Bismarck Event Center Amenity Development Category: Administration Status: Closed Description: The City is seeking a Developer capable of leading and delivering the planning, design, development, construction, and build-out of an approximately 70,000 square foot area currently utilized as a surface parking lot adjacent to the Bismarck Event Center Arena and the Bismarck Event Center Exhibit Hall. The site is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of South 5th Street and East Bowen Avenue. The current parking lot provides off-street parking for approximately 110 vehicles and has direct access along South 5th Street. The area also provides access for vehicles to deliver, load, and unload equipment and materials to the Exhibit Hall through large, overhead doors on the southwest corner of the building. Directly south of the site across East Bowen Avenue are two City-owned, off-street surface parking lots comprising nearly 7.5 acres of event parking, on-site vendor displays, and areas for select outdoor events such as carnivals, training, and competitive exhibitions.
