Print Bid Number: 2025-0008 Bid Title: Bramble Park Zoo Wolf Exhibit, Project No. 2508 Category: City of Watertown Bid Postings Status: Closed Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BRAMBLE PARK ZOO CITY OF WATERTOWN WATERTOWN, SD WOLF EXHIBIT PROJECT # 2508 General Notice City of Watertown (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: BRAMBLE PARK ZOO, WOLF EXHIBIT Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Finance Office located at City Hall until Thursday the 10 th day of April, 2025 at 3:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: The project consists of existing fence and building removal and associated assemblies; new utilities and fencing for the Exhibit; a single story den building of load bearing CMU construction with SIPS roof; a viewing structure of heavy timber and concrete construction, CMU veneer, safety glazing and related assemblies; and other Work as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids are requested for the following Contract: BRAMBLE PARK ZOO, WOLF EXHIBIT Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $5-6m. The Project has an expected substantial completion date of May 1, 2026. A Pre Bid meeting will be conducted at the project site on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Contractors are encouraged to review the site after the meeting. Obtaining the Bidding Documents Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: www.watertownsd.us Bidding Documents may be procured through the City of Watertown website. Questions regarding the technical documents may be directed to TSP at 605-336-1160 or 605-884-7090. Documents will be provided in PDF format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Architect/Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than those designated above. The project is subject to LIQUIDATED DAMAGES as further outlined in the Project Manual.
