Print Bid Title: Advertisement for Bids: Structure Razing (721 Main Street) Category: Current Bids & RFPs Status: Closed Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA) for the City of Wayne will be accepting sealed bids for the razing of a single structure (house), including basement and all footings, located at 721 Main Street, Wayne, Nebraska. Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Bids may be mailed to: City of Wayne Attn: Betty McGuire, City Clerk PO Box 8 Wayne, NE 68787 Bids may also be emailed to or dropped off in-person at City offices located at 306 Pearl Street in Wayne. The CRA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding. Certified hazardous materials inspection and removal will be completed by the CRA. The following criteria should be included or noted by the Contractor when submitting the bid: Demolition shall be completed by April 17, 2023 Bid should be itemized, including, but not limited to, disposal fees and time on the job Site shall be graded/basement filled in by using the dirt piled on the property immediately to the south. No additional dirt will need to be brought in by contractor Contractor shall provide a liability insurance policy in the amount of $1 million dollars, listing the CRA as an additional insured and waiving subrogation Demolition materials must be taken to a licensed landfill Contractor shall have salvage rights to materials Any questions concerning the above proposal requirements may be directed to Wes Blecke, City Administrator, at 402-375-1733.
