Print Bid Title: Airport Terminal Carpet Replacement Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: At this time, the City of Fremont is seeking bids to replace the existing carpet in the Airport terminal building at the Fremont Municipal Airport. The City has recently purchased the carpet and other materials, and is looking for a vendor to complete the installation. The scope of work is as follows: *1116 sq ft of labor to install 24x24 carpet tile *1116 sq ft of labor to remove old glue down carpet *removal of existing carpet from jobsite *1116 sq ft of labor to scrape old glue off concrete….all old adhesive must be removed *215 ft of labor to remove carpet cove base and install new carpet cove base…..existing wall metal for carpet cove will be reused *45 ft of labor to remove old reducer and install new reducer *1116 sq ft of labor to roll sealer on concrete to encapsulate old glue residue *2 hours of minor floor prep *owner will move furniture and equipment Successful vendor must be willing to accommodate airport operations while installing the new carpet in coordination with the staff of the Fixed Based Operator and the Public Works Department. Bid for this project will be due by 2 pm on Friday August 9, 2013 in the City Clerk’s office, 2nd floor, Fremont Municipal Building, Fremont, Nebraska.
