Description
This project is for a general contractor to provide general construction services for the renovation of the Center for BioHealth (CBH), Level 1. The CBH currently houses the ITR (Institute for Translational Research) Imaging Center to support clinical research studies across UNT Health. The existing Imaging Center currently houses two (2) 3T MRI scanners and two (2) Siemens Biograph 450 PET/CT scanners. The program is wanting to expand with the addition of a third PET/CT scanner. The additional scanner will be located on the 1ˢᵗ floor with existing scanners and requires additional renovation for support spaces that include exam rooms and equipment spaces. Note that construction will need to be performed working in an active, occupied imaging center space and cannot interfere with daily activities. Premium hours will be needed. The Center for BioHealth is located at 3400 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Anticipated start date May 2026; the substantial completion of this project is expected by early January 2027.
