Print Bid Title: Request for Bids - CDBG Business Façade Grant Project - 75-77 Main Street, Belfast Category: Economic Development Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR BIDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT BUSINESS FAÇADE GRANT PROJECT 75-77 MAIN STREET, BELFAST The owners of the building located at 75-77 Main Street, Belfast, Maine , seek qualified vendors to provide bids for the following services: Window and sash rehabilitation/replacement and apartment doors replacement, gutter removal and replacement, metal eyebrow, flashing and panel removal and granite replacement, sandblasting and metal insert removal, storefront and side window replacement and double door replacement. This work is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Façade Grant and is subject to all federal and state requirements for this program. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply for this project. Questions regarding this project can also be directed to Ms. LaRochelle. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 7th at 7:00am onsite. Bids are due on Wednesday, September 28th at 3:00pm and can be either mailed or hand delivered to: Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director, City of Belfast (Belfast City Hall, top floor), 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915. Bids submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place immediately following the bid deadline and will be open to the public.
