Print Bid Title: Columbus Area Transit Storage Facility Category: Bids/RFPs Status: Closed Description: Sealed bids will be received by the City of Columbus, Nebraska, at the Office of the City Clerk, 2424 14 Street, Columbus, Nebraska, until 2:00, November 15, 2016, and opened immediately following at City Council Chambers, 1369 25 Avenue for the Columbus Area Transit Storage Facility, Columbus, Nebraska. All bids, properly received, will be opened at the stated time in an open and public letting. The architect and owner will review all bids with the intent of awarding a contract for all construction to the lowest responsive responsible bidder with or without alternates. One proposal for the general construction work, (including, but not limited to, any civil, structural, mechanical and electrical construction) will be accepted. This project is funded with federal transportation administration (FTA) funds. Bidder shall at all times comply with all applicable FTA regulations, policies, procedures and directives, including without limitation those listed directly or by reference in the current master agreement between the Nebraska Department of Roads and the FTA. Said master agreement is therefore included in this project by reference; provisions of the Davis-Bacon Wages, energy policy and conservation act, and other provisions. Federal clauses and assurances are given in the specifications. Contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers may obtain digital plans and specifications for the above project from Questcdn.com Project #4683663 for $10. Hard copy set of drawings and specifications may be obtained from Meyer Creative, telephone 308-221-6100, in the amount of $135 plus shipping fees. The City of Columbus reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to award any bid considered most advantageous to them, including alternatives.
