Print Bid Title: RFQ - Construction Inspection Services for 2026 Water Distribution System Improvements Category: Current Requests for Quotes, Proposals and Bids Status: Closed Description: The City of Burlington, Vermont (the “City” or “Municipality”), is seeking a consultant to provide Construction Inspection Services for distribution system improvement work in Calendar Year 2026. The required oversight for this project includes pre-bid services to get familiar with project, administer weekly construction meetings, inspection, specific construction administration tasks, and sampling/testing of construction materials. The consultant hired to perform these services should be qualified to perform a variety of inspection, record keeping and construction engineering activities as outlined in this RFQ. The construction activities requiring Construction Inspection Services includes, but is not limited to, the following: Replacement of approximately 2,500 feet of water main, paving, surface restoration, approved traffic control measures and all necessary work as required in the contract documents. The Department of Public Works (DPW) is working to finalize the drawings and specifications for this project with a goal of bidding the project as soon as January 2026. Exhibit A includes draft contract drawings for the project. The construction project is partially funded by the State Revolving Fund (SRF) program and the selected consultant shall be familiar with SRF requirements. The contract documents for the Contractor will be in the SRF approved 2013 Engineers Joint Contract Documents Committee (EJCDC) format.
